Peter C. Kruk of East Quogue and Canajoharie, New York, died at his home in East Quogue on Wednesday, March 19. He was 77.?Mr. Kruk was the retired head of bridge maintenance for the Suffolk County Department of Public Works. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose of Riverhead.?Mr. Kruk is survived by two daughters, Mary C. Midgett and her husband Kenneth of Hampton Bays, and Paula M. Gillian and her husband John of Flanders; two sons, Joseph S. Kruk and his wife Bernadette of Montana, and David E. Kruk of East Quogue; two brothers, Chet Kruk and his wife Muriel of Mastic Beach, and Antone Kruk and his wife Marion of North Carolina; four sisters, Frances Allen, Sophie Niewadowski, and Barbara Niebuhr, all of Riverhead, and Cicelia McMullen of Illinois; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.?He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy “Dot” Normoyle Kruk.?A funeral service conducted by Father Thomas Murray, pastor of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church in Greenport, was held at the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays on March 22. Interment follow at Good Ground Cemetery in Hampton Bays.
