Jean C. Forman of Hampton Bays, formerly of Rockville Center, died at her home on Thursday, March 20, following a battle with cancer. She was 68.?A resident of Hampton Bays since 1952, Mrs. Forman was a teacher?in Bayport, and most recently a?homemaker. She was also a life master in the American Contract Bridge League.?The Forman family owns the sport fishing charter boat Sandra Jean, which operates in the Shinnecock area.?Mrs. Forman is survived by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Forman; a son, Michael Forman and his wife Maura; a daughter, Sandra J. L’Hommedieu; and three granddaughters, Charlotte “Charlie” and Maud Mary Forman, and Nicole L’Hommedieu.?The Reverend Daniel Harris conducted funeral services at the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays?on March 26, followed by a private?cremation. Mrs. Forman’s ashes will be interred at Good Ground Cemetery in Hampton Bays at a later date.?In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, 1111 Stewart Avenue, Bethpage, NY 11714 would be appreciated by the family.
