Bridgehampton School News


Senior Jocelin Kalish has been accepted to Colby University and the State University of New York at Geneseo. Senior Jake Patterson has been accepted to the Fashion Institute of Technology and the Parsons School of Design. Senior Freddy Garcia has been accepted to C.W. Post and Dowling College.

On April 2, Bill Aberle of Lettieri Construction supervised the building of an eco-friendly shed designed by the landscape design class.

The eighth-grade class received approval from the School Board to take a three-day trip to Washington, D.C., with eighth-graders from the Southampton Intermediate School. Fund-raising for the trip began on Sunday, April 6, with a car wash at school.

Bridgehampton students joined other forensics classes in the CSI Challenge at the Suffolk County Police Academy in Brentwood on Friday. The competition required students to apply their skills to solve a crime.

The Bridgehampton alumni basketball game took place on Friday. The school will celebrate International Night on Friday, April 18.

Coach David Holmes and the junior high basketball team were honored for sportsmanship this year.
