Former Sag Harbor resident Aileen McNeill-Prestifilippo of Bayside, Queens, died on April 1 at New York Hospital in Queens. She was 46.
Born November 25, 1962, in Queens to Aurelia McNeill-Kelley and Daniel R. McNeill—who predeceased her—she graduated in the class of 1979 from Pierson High School in Sag Harbor. An artist, she worked as a hairdresser.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Frank Prestifilippo of Queens; four daughters, Francesca, 19, Aileen, 14, Nancy, 10, and Lilianna, 7; a son, Anthony, 16; and three sisters, Alice McNeill of East Hampton, Aurelia McNeill-Menaik of Sag Harbor and Colleen McNeill-Ford of North Haven.
A daughter, Gabrielle, predeceased her.
The family received visitors at the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor on April 4. Funeral services were held on April 5 at St. Andrew’s Church in Sag Harbor, followed by interment in the St. Andrew’s Cemetery.
