Puppy tax

I am against Puppy Experience opening in Hampton Bays. Ninety-nine percent of puppies sold in stores come from puppy mills, which is inhumane.

The puppy store is 1 mile from the town’s animal shelter, for which we all pay taxes. This means that there will be less dogs adopted from the shelter as a result of Puppy Experience moving to Hampton Bays.

Our taxes are high enough. Puppy Experience will generate more dogs into the system of the shelter, which will, in turn, use more tax dollars to maintain the shelter.
