William L. Hastings, 40, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Southampton Town Police on Saturday at 10:04 p.m. and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor. Mr. Hastings was sitting in his vehicle, which was parked on Corwin Lane, when police found him to be in possession of 25 grams of marijuana.

A 17-year-old boy from Hampton Bays was arrested by Town Police on April 8 at 10:36 p.m. on Ponquogue Avenue and charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Police said the boy was seen riding a bicycle on Montauk Highway that was reported stolen from the Hampton Bays Public Library.

A 56-year-old woman from Hampton Bays was arrested by Town Police at her home on Ajay Court on April 10 at 9:48 p.m. and charged with second-degree harassment, a violation. Police said the woman slapped her mother-in-law across the face.

Timothy S. Rhatigan, 27, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Town Police on April 6 at 7:03 p.m. on Montauk Highway and was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, both misdemeanors, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Maria Arellano, 37, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Town Police on April 9 at police headquarters and charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Police said the charge stems from a March 9 incident that occurred on Montauk Highway in Bridgehampton.

Marlene Clifford, 63, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Town Police on April 9 at 4:45 p.m. at the King Kullen on Montauk Highway and charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. A security guard at the store observed Ms. Clifford take cold cuts, napkins, a wrap, salad, and a PowerBar from the store without paying for them, according to police.

Ricardo A. Moram, 38, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Town Police at 1:53 a.m. last Thursday, April 10, on Montauk Highway and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct, a violation. Police said Mr. Moram, who was in possession of cocaine, was standing in the middle of the road.

A 21-year-old man from Hampton Bays was arrested by Town Police on March 29 at 7:39 p.m., at the corner of Argonne Road East and Anderson Road, and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. Police said the man threw a plastic bag containing marijuana on the ground in front of an officer.

Freddi H. Barreto, 38, of Southampton was stopped by Town Police on March 29 at 6:36 p.m., at the corner of South Valley Road and Montauk Highway East, and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. Mr. Barreto was stopped for a traffic violation when police found that his license had been suspended.

Tara O’Malley, 41, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Town Police on April 7 at 11:07 p.m. on Montauk Highway and charged with second-degree burglary, a felony, and second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor. According to police, Ms. O’Malley broke into the basement of a home on Kennedy Lane, ignoring a court order to stay away from the residence.

Danielle M. Nevarez, 25, of Deer Park was pulled over by Town Police on April 7 at 5:47 p.m., at the corner of Ponquogue Avenue and Faith Drive, and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. Ms. Nevarez was stopped for a traffic violation when police found that her license had been suspended.

Ceasar Ramirez, 31, of Brentwood was arrested by Town Police on Monday at 2:23 a.m. on Montauk Highway and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Police said they were looking for Mr. Ramirez on an unrelated incident when they found he was in possession of cocaine.

Shabaz Akhtar, 36, of Hampton Bays was pulled over by Town Police at 3:15 p.m. on April 3, at the corner of Ponquogue and Fanning avenues, and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. Mr. Akhtar’s license had been previously suspended.
