Vacation Adventures Theatre Camp

The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center’s School Vacation Adventures Theatre Camp for Children will present a lively original musical adaptation of the classic children’s tale, “Rumpelstiltskin,” starring local youngsters on Friday, April 25, at 7 p.m.

A strange little gnome appears from here, there and everywhere. He will spin your straw into gold, for a price. If his price is too steep, you must guess his name. Join the fun of Festival Time and help Clara guess the mischievous little gnome’s name. The audience will also encounter a Jester, Villagers, Wizards, a Queen, a King, Knights and a band of busy little Bees. This heartwarming tale of mischief and friendship answers more questions than just “What is the little man’s name?”

The School Vacation Adventures Camp at the PAC foster the development of life skills in children age 5 to 16 through participation in the performing arts. Young audience members age 3 and up will enjoy watching their peers perform in this lively, hour-long, by kids, for kids musical.

School Vacation Adventures Theatre Camps are part of the Nancy and Fredrick DeMatteis Arts Education Program for Children.

Tickets are $15, available by calling the Arts Center box office at 288-1500, stopping by the PAC at 76 Main Street, Westhampton Beach, Wednesday to Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. and later on show nights, or on line at
