The seventh annual Moriches Community Center 5K Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, June 21, at 9 a.m. with check-in from 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. The race will begin at Neville Park on Canal Street in Center Moriches. The cost is $15 for runners who register before June 1 and $20 for runners who register after that date. The fee for walkers is $10. The first Christopher’s Run 5K in memory of Christopher Lesta will take place on June 14 at 9:30 a.m. at the Southampton Cultural Center. The fee is $25 for preregistered runners and $30 for those who register after June 1. Race day registration will begin at 8:15 a.m.
All proceeds from the race will benefit the Pediatric Stem Cell Transplant Program at the Duke University Medical Center and the special education program at Southampton Elementary School. Christopher was born with Hunter Syndrome, a rare and untreatable genetic disorder. He died in December 2007 due to an infection.
Youth Soccer Clinics
Spring signups have begun for Southampton Soccer Youth Soccer Skills Clinics, which will take place at Flying Point Park in Southampton on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 10:30 a.m. until noon starting on May 4. The clinics are open to boys and girls age 5 to 15. All coaches are licensed by the Long Island Junior Soccer League and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Hamptons Triple Crown
The Joe Koziarz 5K—the first leg of the Hampton Triple Crown—will take place on Saturday, July 19, at 8:30 a.m. The entry fee is $20 for runners who register by June 30 and $25 after that date. Proceeds benefit the Southampton Town PAL, the Koziarz Hurricane Scholarship Fund and Peconic Bay Medical Center Emergency Room.

The other two legs of the Triple Crown will take place in the fall, with the Hudsy 5K, starting at the Quogue School, taking place on Saturday, October 4, and the Hurricane Educational 5K taking place in Westhampton Beach on Saturday, October 11.
Golf Leagues at Montauk Downs
The pro shop at Montauk Downs is offering a variety of new golf leagues for men and women, as well as a two-player team event called the Hamptons Cup.

Guild Hall Fund-Raiser
On Monday, May 12, Guild Hall’s annual golf outing will take place at the Maidstone Club in East Hampton. Proceeds from the outing will benefit Guild Hall programming and participants will receive a buffet lunch prior to play and a dinner buffet afterwards where prizes will be awarded.
