Juana F. Ordonez, a 20-year resident of East Hampton and formerly of Guatemala, died on November 28. She was 90. Born in Guatemala to Juan Ordonez and Dominga Garcia, she helped to raise three generations of her family. Survivors said last week that she was a loving person and that she was loved in return by all of her family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Candida Chacon of East Hampton and Emestina Campbell of Rochester; five grandchildren, Marilu, Lorena, Roberto, Eric and Luis; eight great-grandchildren Hugo, Jennifer, Mauricio, Jesse, Debora, Christian, Kimberly and Roberto Jr.; and seven great-great-grandchildren, Joseph, Megan, Leo, Mia, Llani, Matthew and Jayden. She was predeceased by her husband.
The family received visitors on December 1 at the O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton. A graveside service was held on December 2 at the Cedar Lawn Cemetery in East Hampton.
