The distance runners led the Westhampton Beach girls track team at the Jim Howard Meet at Suffolk County Community College in Brentwood on Sunday. The meet is named
in honor of longtime Brentwood girls track coach Jim Howard, who died after a battle with brain cancer three years ago.

Sophomore Molly Bennett finished with a time of 5:22 in the 1,500-meter race and had a time of 3:26 in the 1,000-meter race against a large contingent of runners from across Suffolk County.
