Elfreieda Field died at her home in East Hampton on March 15. She was 80.

Born in Germany on February 5, 1933, she was the daughter of Anton and Franziska Kiembock. She worked at the Bulova Watchcase Factory, as a waitress, and as a homemaker. She made room in her home for numerous foster children over the years.

Ms. Field was predeceased by her husband, Russell; a brother, Anton Kiembock; and a sister, Zeta Worm. She is survived by a son, Russell William Field; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was on March 18 at the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton; A funeral was held at Most Holy Trinity Church in East Hampton on March 19; burial followed at the church cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to East End Hospice, Box 1048, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978, the American Cancer Society, or the East Hampton Fire Department.
