Soul Food Night was a huge success. Fried chicken, barbecued ribs (cooked by Chuck Heilman), corn bread and collard greens were among the fixin’s. The 
theme was the 1980s. Students, parents, teachers, alums and friends celebrated, sang and danced to music from that time period.

Many Hayground students have submitted writings to the Hampton Library for its Budding Authors celebration.

Congratulations to all the kids who made art for the Hampton Photo Arts art show. Two of our students placed in the competition. Cheyenne Keating won Best Art (non photograph) and Bridie Raustiala placed as an Honorable Mention.
