East Hampton Swept In Three-Game Series With Glenn


The East Hampton baseball team fell to 2-9 in League VII after getting swept in a three-game series with Elwood/John Glenn (6-5) last week. The losses dropped the Bonackers into a tie for last place in the league with Amityville (2-9).

East Hampton lost the first game, 11-2, at Glenn on April 16, lost, 15-1, at home the next day, and was shut out, 6-0, at Glenn on Friday.

Individual statistics were not provided.

The Bonackers were scheduled to begin a three-game series with first-place Bayport/Blue Point (11-0) this week, with a game in East Hampton on Tuesday, April 23, at Bayport the following day, and back in East Hampton on Friday. After that, East Hampton will begin a three-game set with Shoreham/Wading River (7-4), with the 
first game on the road on April 30. All games will begin at 4:30 p.m.
