Southampton Village Police have cleared a large truck from the Southampton Village train tracks after the vehicle became stuck on David Whites Lane, authorities have confirmed.
According to witnesses on the scene, the vehicle was reversing to unload at a business when it became stuck, forcing a temporary road closure. The scene was cleared within approximately 20 minutes and the road has since reopened.
Aaron Donovan, a press representative for the Long Island Rail Road, said his office was aware of the situation, but at this point it does not appear there will be any delays to service.
Both the Southampton Village Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene.
