Senior Advocate To Visit South Fork In July

A senior advocate from the Suffolk County Office for the Aging will be available on the South Fork during the month of July to help senior citizens apply for services and benefits.

Through contracts with municipal and community-based agencies, the office administers a variety of programs offering transportation, home care, respite, home-delivered meals and nutritional assistance.

Advocates will be available Tuesday, July 2, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Shinnecock Indian Reservation; Wednesday, July 3, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the East Hampton Nutrition Center at 128 Springs-Fireplace Road; Wednesday, July 3, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Montauk Library at 871 Montauk Highway; Wednesday, July 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bridgehampton Nutrition Center at 585 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike; Wednesday, July 10, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the John Jermain Memorial Library in Sag Harbor; Friday, July 12, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the David W. Crohan Community Center at 655 Flanders Road in Flanders; and on Wednesday, July 17 and Wednesday, July 31, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hampton Bays Nutrition Center at 25 Ponquogue Avenue.
