The law firm of Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin and Quartararo, which has offices in Southampton, East Hampton and Riverhead, recently announced that State Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele Jr. will join their company as a partner effective Monday, July 1.
The lifelong Sag Harbor resident, who graduated from Pierson High School and Southampton College, earned his law degree from the Albany Law School. An assemblyman for 18 years, Mr. Thiele is a member of the Independence Party and, in Albany, currently sits on the Environmental Conservation, Education, Transportation, Election Law and the Ways and Means committees. He also serves as the village attorney for Sag Harbor.
At the firm, Mr. Thiele will be involved in general practice, including real estate, estate planning, litigation, municipal and environmental law, and will work primarily out of the firm’s Riverhead office. The company also has offices in Southold and Hauppauge.
