Music for Humanity will host a free performance night at Outdoors on Park Place in East Hampton on Saturday, June 29, from 7:30 to 10 p.m.
The event will feature primarily acoustic guitar music in an “unplugged” performance. Among those performing will be Glenn Feit Sr., who’s known as a balladeer, according to Barry Adelman of Music for Humanity, as well as Micheal Weiskopf, who’s known in part for his covers of Bob Dylan, and Job Potter who plays folk music and is running for East Hampton Town Board this fall.
The event is free, but Music for Humanity is hoping for tax-deductible donations for its scholarship fund. The organization helps students who are passionate about music and need financial assistance to continue their musical education.
It’s suggested that those who’d like to attend Saturday’s performance arrive early to secure seats. For more information about the event and the charity, visit MusicforHumanity.org.
