The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of The South Fork is hosting the free seminar “Living in Co-Housing” on Saturday, July 20, from 7 to 9 p.m. at its meetinghouse located at 997 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike in Bridgehampton.
The meeting will introduce attendees to “co-housing,” which is when a community of people share facilities and live cooperatively as “good stewards of the earth and of each other,” according to a statement in a press release issued by the congregation.
The public is invited to learn about what it’s like to live in these tight-knit communities. Longtime co-housing resident and architect Laura Fitch will be present to answer questions. Light refreshments will be served. To register or for more information call (516) 729-1462.
