Dottie Herman, president and chief executive officer of Douglas Elliman, was recently honored as one of the year’s 50 Most Powerful Women in New York by Crain’s New York Business.
Ms. Herman is credited with the rebranding of Douglas Elliman, the oldest and largest real estate company in New York, and with growing the business exponentially in a highly competitive marketplace. The real estate company is the number four ranked in the United States and boasts more than 4,000 employees working in more than 70 offices in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, the Hamptons and the North Fork, Westchester/Putnam and South Florida.
