Two people, the drivers of both vehicles, were transported to the hospital after suffering non-life threatening injuries during the two-car collision, according to Flanders Fire Chief Todd Ryan, who responded to the scene.
Southampton Town Police said the driver of a red Chevrolet Tahoe was heading south on County Road 105 while the driver of the gold Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling north on County Road 104 at the time of the accident. There is a traffic light at the intersection.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
