Frederick Groth Of Hampton Bays Dies July 9


Frederick Groth of Hampton Bays died at home on July 9. He was 90.

Mr. Goth was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II in the 81st Division Artillery. He worked for many years as an accountant for Estee Lauder Companies in Melville.

Predeceased by his wife, Lillian C. (Ramienski), in 1989, he is survived by two sons, Dennis P. Groth and wife Elizabeth of East Quogue, and Robert Groth and wife Tammy of Rocky Point; and eight grandchildren, Thomas W. Groth, Denise Groth, Dennis Groth Jr., Tara Groth, William T. Groth and Brittany Groth, James M. Samanic and Adam Miller.

Visiting hours were held at the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays on July 11. A funeral service was held at Christ Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Hampton Bays on July 12; Pastor John Kenreich officiated. Interment followed in Calverton National Cemetery.
