The 2013 Gazebo Concert Series on the Westhampton Beach Village Green will conclude this Thursday, August 29, with the final show being performed by The North Shore Pops. The 55-piece concert band has been performing in the series for more than 20 years. They will be playing Broadway show tunes, famous Hollywood music and even some of your favorite marches.The final free show of summer will begin at 7:30 p.m. and, in case of rain, head on over to the Westhampton Beach High School auditorium on Lilac Road.
The fifth annual Westhampton Festival of the Arts will take place this weekend on the Great Lawn in Westhampton Beach, across from St. Mark’s Church on the corner of Main Street and Potunk Lane. Festival hours are 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, and 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 1.

East End Hospice will hold its annual Box Art Auction on Saturday, September 7, starting at 4:30 p.m., at the Ross School on Goodfriend Drive in East Hampton. Scores of artists have created original works from cigar and other types of recycled boxes; the items will be auctioned off to benefit the non-profit organization. The Kiwanis Club of Greater Westhampton will host its 21st annual golf outing at the Baiting Hollow Club, located on Club Drive in Baiting Hollow, on Wednesday, September 11. Check in and registration will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Long Island will host a celebration next month to thank and bid farewell to longtime employee William Tymann. The celebration will take place on Thursday, September 12, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Hotel Indigo off Route 25 in Riverhead.
