PAC Extends Cinema Series Through Late September

The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center has extended its “Rose and Don Ciampa Finest in World Cinema” movie series into late September. The Main Street theater will now screen foreign, independent and documentary films on Fridays at 7:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays at 4 and 7:30 p.m., through Sunday, September 22.

First up is director Fernando Trueba’s delicately crafted drama “The Artist and the Model.” It will be screened between Friday, September 6, and Sunday, September 8. The film is rated R, runs 105 minutes and is in French/Spanish with English subtitles.

Director Thomas Vinterberg’s compelling drama “The Hunt” will screen the following weekend, September 13-15. The film is also rated R, runs 115 minutes and is in Danish, English and Polish with English subtitles.

And director Gilles Legrand’s thriller “You Will Be My Son” will conclude the series with five screenings the weekend of September 20-22. The film is rated R, runs 102 minutes and is in French with English subtitles.
