HIFF Announces ‘View From Long Island’ Films.

The Hamptons International Film Festival recently announced its “View From Long Island” section, which focuses on local/resident filmmakers, the area’s unique landscapes and the important social and political issues facing the Hamptons community.

Confirmed “View From Long Island” feature-length films to be screened at this year’s festival, which will be held from October 10 through 14, include Kevin Connolly’s documentary “Big Shot,” Michael Walker’s “Maid’s Room,” and Eric Steel’s “Kiss the Water.” The short films program includes Kristina Yee’s “Miss Todd,” Jeff Scher’s “Lost Thoughts” and Cody Blue Snider’s “Fool’s Day.”
