Our Lady of the Hamptons SchoolStudents were presented with “first editions” of the new Young Authors volume, “Health and Fitness: Tips and Ideas for a Healthier You!” at a special presentation ceremony and assembly. The book was part of a full-school writing project chaired and edited by Valerie Hanley.
Suzuki violin and cello classes have begun for the fifth year, mentored by Stephanie Mocilan. Forty-five students are part of the program that has now extended into participation in many local and regional music festivals.
The annual Bucks for Books raffle to benefit the school is beginning now, and will culminate in the grand drawing on December 16, with the big winner claiming the $12,000 jackpot. Tickets are available at the school by calling 283-9140.
