Hundreds Turn Out For San Gennaro Parade and Festival in Hampton Bays


Hundreds of people flooded Good Ground Road in Hampton Bays on Saturday morning, eating, drinking and celebrating the third annual San Gennaro Feast of the Hamptons.

The festivities kicked off at about 10:30 a.m. with a parade that began on Ponquogue Avenue, wrapped through the hamlet via Montauk Highway and circled back down to Good Ground Road by way of Springville Road.

Saturday’s festivities end at 10 p.m. after a fireworks display and the festival will pick back up again Sunday morning at 10 a.m.
