Our Lady of the Hamptons SchoolThe Feast of St. Francis of Assisi was marked with a gala Blessing of the Animals at Our Lady of the Hamptons, with 76 dogs, several cats, birds, fish and other species joining falcons, and two horses to be blessed by Father Janusz Lipski. The entire school celebrated in song, prayer, photos and special doggie bags.

The community is asked to help the school in simple ways such as saving Box Tops for Education, Campbell Soup labels, and by enrolling in A+ for Education, the Stop and Shop program that benefits OLH. The process for admission to Our Lady of the Hamptons School for the 2014-15 school year is already under way. Information packets are available by calling 283-9140.

The annual Bucks for Books raffle to benefit the school is under way and will culminate in the grand drawing on December 16, with the big winner claiming the $12,000 jackpot. Tickets are available at the school or by calling 283-9140.

Memorial gifts for the building fund are accepted in any amount; visit the school’s website, www.olh.org, for a video of the construction project. Brochures are available in the vestibule of the church.
