Bridgehampton SchoolIn recognition of October’s Bully Prevention and Awareness Month in the Town of Southampton, students in grade six through 12 met with Town Youth Bureau counselor Karen Matz last Tuesday. Ms. Matz spoke about bully prevention and encouraged students to join the Youth Court, a program where youth offenders are sentenced by their peers. Students in grade nine through 12 Art and Photography classes will travel to the Museum of Modern Art on Friday, October 11, to tour the facility and participate in a workshop to learn different methods and materials artists use to create their artwork.

The school’s annual Halloween Parade will take place at 12:30 on October 31. Students in kindergarten through five will participate in the parade that will depart from the school at 12:30 PM. and proceed through Main Street. A Halloween costume contest for students in pre-K through five will follow.
