The East Hampton boys soccer team wrapped up the League VI regular season with a 3-0 win at Amityville on Monday, giving them a first-place record of 11-1, 13-2-1 overall. Nick West, Camilo Godoy and Nick Quiroz scored for the Bonackers, and goalie Nick Tulp got his 13th shutout of the season.
The East Hampton boys volleyball team lost, 3-1, to Connetquot on Monday, with scores of 25-17, 16-25, 26-24 and 25-22. The loss dropped East Hampton to 3-9, but did not eliminate them from playoff contention.
The Southampton girls volleyball team fell to 2-9 in League VII after a 3-1 loss at Babylon, with scores of 25-18, 15-25, 25-16 and 25-14. The Lady Mariners will finish the season at home on October 29 against Center Moriches at 6 p.m.
The East Hampton field hockey team moved to 6-7 in Division III after a 5-0 win over Babylon. Amanda Calabrese scored twice, and Kathryn Wood, Sophia DePasquale and Francesca Keogh each had a goal. As of Tuesday morning, East Hampton sat in eighth place in the division with 104.740 power points. The Lady Bonackers were scheduled to finish the regular season at Harborfields on October 24. In order to make the Class B playoffs, they will need to finish in the top four among the eight Class B teams in Division III. Going into their final game, the Lady Bonackers were sixth among Class B teams in the division. Harborfields, also a Class B school, was one spot ahead of them.
