Southampton High School

The Mariner math team celebrated a victory at the first meet of the 2013/14 school year at Southampton High School. The team was led by Captain Mariah Neknez and Noelle Crough, each of whom scored three out of six questions correctly. Jake Marano, Christian Westerhoff and Oscar Mahoney all recorded two correct questions, as well.

The Southampton Hall of Fame is looking for community members who are interested in serving on the committee to recognize Southampton School’s alumni for outstanding contributions in fine arts, their professional areas, their community, and the armed services. Physical Education teachers Brian Tenety and Tim Schreck agreed to be taped to a wall with duct tape as a fundraiser for the high school’s Best Buddies club.

Southampton Intermediate School

Students celebrated Red Ribbon Week from October 21 to 25 with a theme of “A Healthy Me is Drug Free!” Throughout the week, students collected donations for the Liz Raynor Scholarship Fund and were encouraged to be drug-free in order to protect their health, safety, and future.
