A Veterans Day celebration was held at the school last Friday to honor the brave men and women who have served in the United States military. The school band performed and several special guest veterans participated in the assembly including science teacher Helen Wolfe’s son, Bryan Wolfe; current U.S Navy Lt., via live video from Bahrain, language teacher Nancy Bagshaw’s father, Walter Stewart; Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele Jr.; parent volunteers, Stephen Tiska and Chris Campbell; and former School Board member Rick Delano.

Parent teacher conference day for parents of students in prekindergarten through grade five is planned for Monday, November 25. Pre-K students will be dismissed at 11 a.m. and kindergarten through grade five students will be dismissed at 11:15 a.m. First quarter report cards will be provided at individual student conferences.

The Bridgehampton School is looking for community membership on the Wellness Committee and Budget Advisory Committee. Interested community members should send a letter of interest to District Clerk Tammy Cavanaugh via e-mail at by November 25.
