Members of the Southampton and Tuckahoe school boards will meet in a joint executive session on Thursday, November 14, officials have confirmed.
Although they have not revealed the purpose of the closed-door meeting, the official notice for the joint executive session cites discussions of “legal” matters involving the two districts.
There will be no public participation in the meeting, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Tuckahoe School. Both school boards will officially open the meeting, then vote immediately to enter a closed-door executive session.
On Tuesday afternoon, Tuckahoe School Superintendent Chris Dyer declined to comment, saying more information will be available later this week. Southampton Superintendent Dr. Scott Farina was not immediately available for comment.
