The Noyac Civic Council will host a 60th anniversary celebration with dinner and dancing on Saturday, September 27, from 6 to 10 p.m. at Harlow restaurant at the Long Wharf in Sag Harbor. The dinner will serve both as a celebration for the council and as a fundraiser for the Sag Harbor and Southampton volunteer ambulance corporations.
Recently, the Noyac Civic Council has been instrumental in trying to resolve noise problems from helicopter traffic, and in trying to protect groundwater quality and resolve other environmental issues in Southampton Town.
Tickets for the celebration cost $90 and can be purchased at the Whalebone General Store on Noyac Road. Ticket price includes a two-hour open bar, appetizers, entrée, dessert and dancing. Tables of four, six or eight persons are available, and guests do not have to be civic council members to attend.
