The League of Women Voters of the Hamptons will assist with voter registration forms and absentee ballot applications at 12 sites throughout the East End on Tuesday, September 23, in honor of National Voter Registration Day.
National Voter Registration Day was established in 2012 on the fourth Tuesday in September and boasts more than 1,000 partnering organizations throughout the United States. Its purpose is to bring attention to the importance of registering to vote on time.
The New York State deadline is October 10 for the general election on November 4.
