A fundraiser for the Fountaine family, who lost their Northampton home and most of their possessions in a fire in June, will take place at the Riverhead Polish Hall on Marcy Avenue next month.
The event will run from 7 until 11 p.m. on Friday, October 24. Community members are invited to enjoy a dinner and Chinese auction. The doors open at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $50 each and include dinner and a sheet of tickets for the auction.
Tracey and Lyn Fountaine, and their three daughters—Cherelle, Nia and Amberlyn—are still recovering from the blaze. Mr. Fountaine suffered first- and second-degree burns in the fire, injuries that kept him hospitalized for nearly a week. He has since recovered and returned to work, but the family is still in need of support, according to organizers.
