Westhampton Beach Halloween Parade Set For Friday Afternoon

The annual Westhampton Beach Halloween Parade will take place on Friday afternoon, starting at the Westhampton Beach Elementary School and running east on Mill Road to Main Street where children will collect candy from local businesses.

The parade will start between 3 and 3:30 p.m. and hundreds of costumed children are expected to be on Main Street by 4 p.m., Westhampton Beach Police Lieutenant Trevor Gonce said.

Main Street will be closed to vehicle traffic between Library Avenue and Mitchell Road during the parade, and parking will be prohibited on the street at that time, according to Lt. Gonce.

This year’s event also will feature a disc jockey.
