The students in Liz Bertsch’s class have been exploring the process of creating a visual story from a voice-recorded story for their upcoming projects. The finished project will be screened at a Movie Night sometime this winter. One of the younger students recorded another student telling a story about her aunt, and both of the girls braved the recording process while 13 of their peers looked on. All students will record a story with another person.
Hayground parents spent last Saturday at the school’s fall Helping Hands Day. The day was beautiful and students and parents worked hard taking down tents, filling holes in the driveway, washing windows and taking down screens, removing weeds and cleaning up flower beds.
Hayground’s Halloween celebration included a parade, a fashion show and a Monster Mash dance followed by brunch in Jeff’s Kitchen.
