The East Hampton Town Chiefs Association will hold a multi-agency drill for fire rescue and emergency medical services professionals and volunteers on Sunday, November 23, at 9 a.m. at the field at 555 Montauk Highway in Amagansett.
“The members of the East Hampton Town Chiefs work to provide a challenge to our department members to further our skills providing emergency services to the residents of East Hampton and Southampton Town,” said coordinating chief and first assistant chief of the Springs Fire Department David M. King in a press release.
East Hampton Town Supervisor Larry Cantwell added that this mass casualty drill, which will challenge multiple agencies to work together, “is a great opportunity to test and train for such an incident.”
The training exercise will include fire departments and ambulance companies from all over the East End. For more information, contact Mr. Cantwell’s office at (631) 324-4140.
