The East End DWI task force netted four arrests and issued several summonses in Southampton Town on Wednesday night, one of the biggest party nights of the year, with college students returning home for the holidays.
The task force consisted of six members from the Southampton Town Police, the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department, and Southampton Village Police who worked from 8 p.m. on Wednesday through 4 a.m. on Thanksgiving.
In total, 62 cars were stopped by the task force and the drivers were screened. Four drivers were arrested and 16 summonses were issued.
Wellington Barrios, 37, of Southampton was arrested at 9:58 p.m. on Noyac Road and charged with driving while his ability was impaired by alcohol.
Tiskwa T. Reddick, 25, of the Shinnecock Reservation was arrested at 1:40 a.m. on Hampton Road and charged with DWI.
Danilo Donda, 51, of Southampton was arrested at 2:06 a.m. on County Road 39 and charged with DWI.
Magdaleno DeJesus, 25, of Hampton Bays, was arrested at 2:45 a.m. on North Sea Road and charged with DWI.
