Renee Zellweger’s East Hampton House Sells Swiftly

Renée Zellweger’s East Hampton property sold in November, less than a month after being listed, for $250,000 more than the asking price, the New York Post recently reported.

At 30 Egypt Lane, the house was listed with Douglas Elliman’s Linda Haugevik for $4.45 million. Ms. Zellweger had paid $2.15 million for it in 2003, although its ownership was listed under the name of the photographer Bruce Weber.

According to the Post, the buyers are Dr. Jeffrey and Leigh Geller, an orthopedic surgeon and former Manhattan district attorney.

The 2,000-square-foot farmhouse sits on slightly less than 1 acre south of Montauk Highway.
