The newest museum in town, the East Hampton Historical Farm Museum, on the corner of Cedar and North Main streets in East Hampton, will officially open for the season on Saturday at 10 a.m.
East Hampton Historical Farm speakers will invite visitors to learn about dairy farms that existed around town, and a representative of the East End Community Organic Farm will answer questions and explain the farm’s plans for its garden.
At 1 p.m. on Saturday, Ron Bush will speak about the history of Dune Alpin Farm.
The East Hampton Historical Farm Museum, which occupies the historic Barnes-Lester farmhouse, opened for the first time in October 2014 with the mission of letting people experience what life was like on a farm around 1900 in East Hampton.
