A Scotch Plains, New Jersey, woman was arrested on Wednesday after a traffic stop in East Hampton where East Hampton Town Police said they found cocaine and heroin inside the vehicle.
According to a press release from the Town of East Hampton Police Department, Kori R. Fleischman, 21, was arrested at 1:36 p.m. on Wednesday and was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended license.
Detective Sergeant Greg Schaefer said more than a half ounce but less than 4 ounces of cocaine and less than a half ounce of heroin were found in the interior compartment of her vehicle.
Ms. Fleischman was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, both felonies, plus misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree, and aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree.
She was taken into custody, according to the press release, and will be arraigned in East Hampton Town Justice Court on Thursday morning.
