Tuckahoe’s Student Council sponsored a food drive in November and donated the proceeds to Human Resources of the Hamptons.
This month, the Student Council is collecting hats, mittens and gently used coats using the motto, “No Child in Our Community Goes Without.”
The holiday concerts schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, December 8, at 6:30 p.m.—prekindergarten, first, second and third grade chorus.
Thursday, December 10, at 6:30 p.m.—grade four through eight chorus and band.
The PTO Gingerbread House Night will be held on Friday, December 11. For more information, contact PTO co-president Jenn Corwith at firstname.lastname@example.org. Parent volunteers are welcome.
The PTO will stage its holiday show, “Mad Science,” for students on December 21.
In collaboration with Human Resources of the Hamptons to make sure our students and all children will be able to experience a joyful Christmas, new, unwrapped toys for community families in need are being collected through December 14. The needs are Legos for boys age 10-12; crafts for girls age 8-10; board games for girls and boys age 12; toys for girls and boys age 6; and infant toys for age 18 months.
