Get into the holiday spirit on Sunday evening at the Suffolk Theater in Riverhead, where “It’s A Wonderful Life,” adapted by Joe Landry, will stage for the second time this season—but with a brand new cast and director.
With 88.3 WPPB’s morning radio host Bonnie Grice at the helm, a troupe of 13 will perform the 1940s classic, standing at microphones and reading off scripts the way it was done in the radio network studios.
For those who cannot attend in person, a broadcast will air on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day on 88.3 FM, times to be announced.
The cast includes Bill Baker, Gene Casey, Cate and Cindy Clifford, Thom D’Angelo, Rob Florio, Ed German, Kristin Guldi, Michael Horn, Joe Lauro, Matt Senese, Amie Sponza and Lauren Ware.
The production starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15, or $30 for VIP. A portion of the proceeds benefits Maureen’s Haven. For more information, visit suffolktheater.com.
