Fourth Annual ‘A Taste of Montauk’ To Celebrate Best Local Food and Drinks


A night dedicated to East End foodies is coming to the Montauk Yacht Club with food, craft brews and wine from top local chefs and producers to indulge in.

On Sunday, July 24, the Montauk Chamber of Commerce will host its fourth annual “A Taste of Montauk” under a tent on the Great Lawn overlooking Lake Montauk from 6 to 9 p.m.

Guests will be able to enjoy a variety of gourmet cuisines from restaurants including East by Northeast, Montauk Shellfish Co., Surfside Inn, Duryea’s Lobster Dock, Westlake Fish House, Tacombi Montauk, Backyard at Sole East, Shagwong Tavern, Tillie’s Restaurant at Gurney’s, Arbor, Coast Kitchen at Montauk Yacht Club, Joni’s, Swallow East and Westlake Fish House.

Montauk Brewing Company will serve beer, and participating East End vineyards and wineries include Pindar, Duck Walk, Osprey’s Dominion, Martha Clara and Bedell Cellars.

“We’re very excited for this event,” said Laraine Creegan, the executive director of the chamber. “It’s going to be a little different this year since it will be on the Great Lawn of the Montauk Yacht Club. We have more participants and should have more guests to serve this year.”

Hamptons-based Pierpont Blossom Farm will donate flowers for the event and all of the vendors from the Montauk Farmers Market will offer prizes for raffles. Additionally, the Lynn Blue Band will perform live music for anyone who wishes to get up and dance.
