Two New Traffic Lights Installed Along Flanders Road In Flanders


The New York State Department of Transportation has installed a pair of new traffic signals along Flanders Road in Flanders, at the intersections of Long Neck Boulevard and Oak Avenue, though it was not immediately clear when the signals would be operational. Their installation, which comes about six months later than originally estimated, is part of a $5.2 million, two-year overhaul of the highway that runs between the traffic circle in Riverside and Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays.
