Ribbon Cutting Ceremony For St. Michael’s Housing on May 2


There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the newly constructed apartments for low-income senior and disabled citizens on the grounds of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Amagansett on Thursday, May 2, at 11 a.m.

New tenants of St. Michael’s will be joined by residents from the other communities, as well as community leaders including Michael DeSario, president of the housing board of St. Michael’s and Windmill Village, Drew Bennett, a consulting engineer for East Hampton Town, Tom Ruhle, the town’s Director of Housing, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Representative Tim Bishop.

The finished housing project is the third low-income housing development for senior and disabled citizens in East Hampton Town.

St. Michael’s is located at 488 Montauk Highway, on the east side of Amagansett.
