Sag Harbor School District Propositions

Sag Harbor School District Propositions
Voters in the Sag Harbor School District will be asked to vote on two propositions this year in addition to the proposed budget.

Proposition 2 would keep in place the district’s current transportation policy for another year. The policy provides bus transportation for all resident students in kindergarten through 12th grade who live between 1 and 15 miles from their school.

Proposition 3 would authorize the district to spend about $1.11 million to repair the Sag Harbor Elementary School and Pierson Middle-High School gym roofs and Middle-High School bleachers, with $240,000 of the cost coming from the 2013-14 budget and $873,600 coming from a facilities renovation capital reserve fund.
