Westhampton Beach’s Gazebo Concert Series will return again this summer, with free shows offered every Thursday evening in July and August at the Village Green, located on the corner of Main Street and Mill Road. This year’s performances, all of which begin at 7:30 p.m., will range from rock ‘n’ roll and cabaret, to soul and jazz music.
The new season will open on Thursday, July 4, with a performance by the Atlantic Wind Symphony. Then, on July 11, The Boomers will perform followed by the Long Island Opera Company on July 18 and Rhonda Denét on July 25. The Swingtime Big Band takes the stage on August 1, the New York Exceptions on August 8, The Sound Symphony on August 15, Leslie Orofino on August 22, and the North Shore Pops will wrap things up on August 29.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to enjoy the shows. The free concerts are sponsored by the Westhampton Cultural Consortium, whose three committee members are Jim Hulme, Ray Overton and Judith Bacher.
