Jean Carbone Clinton Of Quogue Dies on July 7


Jean Carbone Clinton of Quogue died at her home on Sunday, July 7. She was 85.

Ms. Clinton was born in Flushing, Queens, on November 8, 1927. She was a real estate broker in Quogue for more than 30 years. A bridge life master and bridge instructor, she was also an avid golfer with memberships at the Westhampton Country Club and Meadowood Golf and Tennis Club in Fort Pierce, Florida, where she spent her winters. She was also a member of the Surf Club in Quogue.

Ms. Clinton is survived by five children, Tim, Tom, Melanie, Mark and Sandy; and nine grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Follett and Werner Funeral Home in Westhampton Beach on July 10. A Mass will be celebrated at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Quiogue on Thursday, July 11, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Quogue Cemetery.
